Photo policy
How we handle photographs of the young people in our program.
Almost everyone photographed on this site is a child. We take that seriously.
What we publish
Photographs from training sessions, league races and team events at Alpine Valley Resort and the hills that host our races.
What we do not publish
- No surnames of minors. Captions use a first name and an age group, or no name at all.
- No location data. Every photograph has its embedded camera metadata, including any GPS coordinates, stripped before it is published.
- No contact details, school names, or anything identifying beyond the above.
Asking us to remove a photograph
If you would like a photograph of your child taken down, contact us and we will remove it. You do not need to give a reason, and we will not ask for one.
We keep a record of which athletes appear in which photographs specifically so that a request like this can be actioned completely, in one step, rather than depending on someone spotting every image.
