Junior alpine ski racingAlpine Valley Resort, East Troy, WI

Sound ski racing grows from strong skiing.

We coach athletes aged 7 to 18 in slalom and giant slalom, from recreational league racing through to national level. Most start with us around eight, as solid parallel skiers who have outgrown ski school and want to race. Every athlete joins through an on-snow evaluation with one of our coaches.

Waitlist open for the 2026–27 season

PLACEHOLDER COPY, for layout only. New families can join the waitlist for an on-snow evaluation now. We contact families to schedule once a place looks likely, so the wait depends on your athlete's age class. Dryland runs on Sundays from September at Mukwonago.

What we do

Where ski school ends

We are not a ski school. Our coaches train proficient parallel skiers to race slalom and giant slalom, so if your athlete has outgrown lessons and wants to compete, this is the right place. If they are still turning in a wedge, it isn't yet.

One coach, all season

Athletes are assigned to a coach for the whole season, matched by age and ability, and coached in small groups. That continuity is the reason our athletes develop the way they do.

We stay small

Around twenty coaches and a hundred athletes, and a fixed amount of hill space. Both cap how many we can take, so there is usually a waitlist, and we would rather cap the roster than dilute the coaching every athlete gets.

What we ask of an athlete

  1. Three days a week, on snowA weekday evening plus both weekend days. From January, one of those weekend days is a race.
  2. Ski racing as their winter sportIf another winter sport clashes with our schedule, they will have to choose.
  3. Every December session, in year oneDecember is when gate training happens, and it is what January is built on. Please don't book family travel that month.

We expect and accept only athletes who can give the program a full commitment. See the full requirements.
